Yap, FSM – The Department of Youth and Civic Affairs (DYCA) team, which includes the Youth Division, Media Division, and Historic Preservation Office (HPO), will conduct a photo shoot this Saturday, May 18th, 2024. This shoot is for an HPO postcard that will be exhibited at the 13th Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture in Hawai’i next month. The postcard aims to showcase the aesthetic beauty of Yap Island and promote the State of Yap.
The photoshoot will feature four children: one from the Outer Island of Fais and three from various locations within Yap Proper, including Malay, Kanifay, Luwech, Rull, and Wanyan, Gagil. The shoot will take place at two locations, starting at 2 pm. The first location is Kaday, Dalipebinaw, followed by the second location in Ngariy, Galas.
