Yap, FSM – As of March 2024, a total of 90 traffic violations were issued under various sections of Title 25, reflecting a commitment to traffic safety and regulation enforcement. 


The number of traffic violations was issued for traffic tickets as follows:

  • (29) Negligent driving

  • (2) Improper Signaling

  • (2) Term of license expired

  • (4) No registration card

  • (8) No driver's license in possession 

  • (5) Faulty tail lamp

  • (9) Expired registration card

  • (7) Disobeying traffic sign

  • (6) No driver’s license 

  • (5) Speeding

  • (2) Improper display plate

  • (2) Obstructing driver view

  • (3) Light equipment

  • (2) Faulty headlamp

  • (3) Unsafe passing

  • (1) Failure to yield to vehicle


The traffic violations underscore the importance of adhering to traffic laws for the safety of all road users.
