Colonia Yap – In efforts to ensure smooth traffic flow, the Department of Public Works and Transportation (PW&T) took action on Monday, March 11, 2024. At around 5:00 a.m, the PW&T team initiated operations to clear a blocked road adjacent to the SDA school area.
The dedicated team, led by Director Giltug, Damian Kogol, the Road and Ground Supervisor, Junior Tamdad, and Rophino Yarowe, mobilized to clear the obstruction. Their efforts aimed to reopen the road to the public by 7:00 a.m., just in time for the morning rush hour.
The PW&T expresses its gratitude to members of the public who promptly reported the road blockage. This collaboration between the public and the department underscores the importance of community engagement in maintaining our roads in our communities.
