Amun, Gagil -The Amun community of Gagil Municipality has requested a dredging project from the Public Works and Transportation Department. Initiated in July, this ongoing project aims to deepen the channel for improved emergency access, ensuring boats can reach the area during low tide. Additionally, the dredged sediments are being utilized for road repairs, spanning from Ruu village to Miyub and May village roads. Progress has been hindered by adverse weather conditions and the use of outdated equipment by the Public Works and Transportation Department. Despite these challenges, efforts continue to advance the project towards enhancing community safety and infrastructure.
