The Department of Health Services(DHS) Public Health Division is pleased to invite the community to participate in the Walkathon & Trash-A-Thon on October 19, 2024. This event aims to promote fitness, environmental responsibility, and public health awareness, with a special focus on WASH ( Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and Mental Health.

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, caps or hats for sun protection
The walkathon is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. During the walk, participants will also help clean up by picking up trash around public areas in parts of the Colonia. Prizes will be awarded to the first 50 participants, and raffle prizes, incentives, as well as informative materials on WASH and Mental Health, will be shared throughout the day.
We encourage everyone to gather friends, family, and colleagues to join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community services. Let's take steps toward a healthier lifestyle and a cleaner, stronger community!
