Yap, FSM- The Division of Marine Resource Management division at the Department of Resources and Development has been working on a survey data collection effort for the past 10 years. This survey encompasses many aspects of marine life, including looking at data and the impacts that both the environment and humans have in their environment.
The Department of Resources and Development hopes that through their findings and recommendations that the leadership of Yap will enable laws and enforcements to protect and manage the many marine species that our community in Yap rely on.
