Yap, FSM – As of February 2024, a total of 81 citations were issued under various sections of Title 25, reflecting a commitment to traffic safety and regulation enforcement. 


The number of citations was issued for violations as follows:

  • (1) Negligent driving

  • (3) Improper Signaling

  • (9) Term of license expired

  • (27) No registration card

  • (5) no driver's license

  • (9) Faulty tail lamp

  • (6) Expired registration card

  • (7) Disobeying traffic sign

  • (5) No license in possession

  • (1) No registration/plate sticker

  • (1) Speeding

  • (1) Defective muffler

  • (1) Disobeying police officer


The citations underscore the importance of adhering to traffic laws for the safety of all road users.
