Colonia, Yap – LCDR Christina Torres Igisomar paid a courtesy visit to Director Alex Gilfiley of the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs(DYCA) on Friday, February 9th, 2024, seeking assistance relocating certain stone money in Yap. LCDR Torres-Igisomar became aware of the stone money from a photograph depicting her late grandparents' visit to Yap in the early 90s.
On Saturday, February 10th,2024, LCDR Torres-Igisomar, accompanied by the DYCA team, visited Wanyan village in Gagil municipality, and successfully located the stone money beside the paved road.
