“United we come, the stronger we become,” expressed by Guam Legislature Vice Speaker Tina Rose Muña Barnes, an oversight chairperson of the federal, foreign, and regional affairs, innovation and development, human resources, and public libraries, on her experience attending the 63rd APIL Board of Directors meeting.

On the first day of the session, February 26th, the meeting provided a platform for members of states to exchange ideas, address common concerns, and collaborate on initiatives on various topics relevant to the member states and their legislative bodies. During the last session, on February 27th,  discussions focused on the proposals for the APIL Resolution Number 63 Binding Operational Directives(BOD) and the selection of which one to adopt.

Throughout the following days, the delegation rested and engaged in the 54th Yap Day festivities in Makiy, Gagil on February 29th and March 1st, 2024. The APIL delegation concluded their visit to the State of Yap by departing on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, via UA.
