Yap, FSM– On May 31st, 2024, there will be at least two Election Board Members present at every polling site to provide assistance and ensure the integrity of this upcoming referendum from 7 am to 7 pm. At Small Business, there will be special polling sites for Election Districts (ED) 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The villages for each district are as follows:
ED 1: Yap Proper
ED 2: Ngulu, Mogmog, Fais, Fethray, Falalop(Ulithi), Asor, and Sorol
ED 3: Falalop(Woleai), Falalus, Tegailap, Seliap, and Wottegai
ED 4: Eauripik, Faraulap, Ifalik, and Piig
ED 5: Elato, Lamotrek, and Satawal
The Election Board Members for ED 1 will be Jeffery F. Filenguy and Vera Guwaathag, ED 2 will be Quincy Yefalgoy and Alvinus Mahol, ED 3 will be John Hasugoiram and Mario Lugumal, then for ED 4 will be Russ Piyeraal and George Chuwmai, and lastly Pius Yalisman and Ignatius Pakaluo for ED 5.
