Yap, FSM - The University of Guam(UOG) Agriculture division paid a visit to the College of Micronesia-FSM, Yap Campus students and faculty on Monday and Tuesday, March 18th and 19th, 2024 to share the available online programs. Representatives from UOG included Dr. Bob Barber, Interim Associate Director of UOG Cooperative Extension, Dr. Kuan-Ju Chen, Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics, Dr. Mari Marutani, Professor of Horticulture, and five UOG students.
During the 2-day session, attendees discussed the online programs in Agriculture Natural and Applied Science sponsored by UOG. They also outlined pathways for students to complete their degrees efficiently, reviewed the alignment of courses between UOG and COM, and ensured students were well-informed about the required courses for full accreditation.
