Hawaii — On the opening day of the 13th Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture (FestPAC) at the University of Hawai'i Stan Sheriff Center, attendees gathered to witness the parade featuring delegations from various Pacific Islands. The FSM delegation, comprising representatives from Yap, Pohnpei, Chuuk, and Kosrae, presented gifts to the Governor of Hawaii and the First Lady.

The following day, traditional performances and booths were showcased at the Hawai’i Convention Center. The Yap delegates wore traditional attire, exhibited various styles of weaving using coconut leaves, and displayed items such as a replica of the stone money, pandanus baskets, and coconut fiber rope (aaw).

Furthermore, the Yapese Organization in Oahu continues to support the Yap Delegation by providing transportation and bringing food to the participants.
