FSM EDA Program Launches $12M Grant for Climate Change Adaptation Projects in Local Communities

Yap, FSM – The SPC-EDA program is announcing its open calls for the “Climate Change Adaptation Solutions for Local Authorities in FSM” grant opportunity. This initiative, part of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) Enhancing Direct Access (EDA) Programme, offers up to USD 12 million to support municipalities and state governments in addressing climate vulnerabilities, focusing on food security, water security, and disaster risk reduction.


Eligible applicants can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) between September 5th and October 31st, 2024. Grant awards range from USD 75,000 to USD 1 million, with projects required to propose innovative strategies to address specific local climate risks.
