Yap, FSM- On Friday, March 8th, 2024, Governor Charles Chieng expressed gratitude to the esteemed Speaker Nicholas Figirlaarwon and Members of the 11th Yap State Legislature for prompt confirmation of the new Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) Director, Mr. Julius L. Tun. In line with Yap State Constitution Article VI, Section 8, Governor Chieng nominated Mr. Theophilus Thinnifel to supersede Mrs. Leelkan Southwick. “Mr.Thinnifel is a proactive and mature individual with a diverse range of professional experiences in managing different departments, agencies, and organizations,” stated Governor Chieng in his letter to Speaker Figirlaarwon.
