Yap, FSM – The H2 is scheduled to depart tomorrow at 5:00 PM en route to Yap State Outer Islands Ulithi, Fais, Eauripik, Woleai, then returning back to Yap Proper on August 10th. This is the first leg for Voyage 05-2024, as the second leg is scheduled to depart Yap Proper on August 17th. The purpose of both trips is to transport teachers back to their home islands, students to the two high schools before the school year begins, provide regular field trip services to neighboring islands, and accommodate Department of Health (DHS) requests for facility inspections. More details will follow for the 2nd leg trip to the Outer Islands.
