Colonia, Yap- Around 10 AM Monday, February 12, 2024, Legislature staff contacted Director Alex Gilfiley of the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs (DYCA) regarding a possible explosive ordinance under a breadfruit tree at the Legislature building. Director Gilfiley is in contact with the U.S. military in disposing of the explosive device. In the meantime, the general public is advised to keep clear of the area marked off by local police.
