Yap, FM –The Historical Preservation Office has an upcoming project to restore the stone path at Rumuu’ Village This path is very important to the people in the village and municipality, as it is used by many to walk to their taro patches, gardens, and other important areas in the community. The stone path is also part of a network of stone paths that goes all over the island connecting villages and different areas of the main island of Yap. This restoration work will help keep the stone paths safe and usable for everyone in the years to come.
The project is expected to begin next month. The repairs will ensure that the stone path remains strong and accessible for all residents.
