Yap, FSM– With only 9 days remaining until the referendum on the question:"Shall the State of Yap commence a review of its Political Status?" Voters are reminded of important deadlines, including the request to vote by absentee ballot continues until this Friday, May 24th, 2024, with the registration and confinement forms deadline also falling on the same day. Additionally, requests to vote at another polling place and a special polling place must be submitted by Sunday, May 26th. Prior to the Special Election on May 31st, the General State Register must be ready for public inspection. The Department of Youth and Civic Affairs (DYCA) urges all eligible individuals to register and participate in this upcoming special election.
