Yap, FSM – The JICA Tohoku Center will be hosting a training course on Medical Equipment
Management and Maintenance; which will be held from February 21, 2024, to April 4, 2024. The practical training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of medical professionals in the effective management and maintenance of medical equipment.
The training course will provide participants with comprehensive insights into the latest advancements in medical equipment technologies, troubleshooting techniques, preventive maintenance, and safety management. Participants will also gain hands-on experience through practical exercises and case studies conducted by expert trainers at the JICA Tohoku Center, in Japan.
To ensure diverse participation and global learning opportunities, one slot has been allocated to the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Therefore, the FSM was kindly requested to submit one nominee with a completed application form and necessary documents to JICA Micronesia Office by December 21,2023. The nominee must also provide a copy of their current passport for registration.
This training course aims to strengthen the capacity of medical professionals in FSM and equip them with the necessary skills to effectively manage and maintain medical equipment in their healthcare facilities.
The knowledge gained from this training will contribute towards improving overall healthcare services and enhancing patient care. The JICA Tohoku Center is renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and experienced trainers who are experts in their respective fields.
