Colonia, Yap – On September 29, 2023, the 2nd Movie Night organized by the movie night committee under the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs took place at the iBoom compound.
This recurring event is part of the committee’s ongoing efforts to provide engaging and constructive activities for the youth and community of the State of Yap.
Eijan Ruetmag, the chairman of the movie night committee, emphasized, “Our primary objective with these initiatives is to offer our youth meaningful and constructive activities that keep them engaged, preventing them from drifting towards less desirable pursuits.”
The success of such events relies on collaborations with private sector partners. BG Commercial Construction played a pivotal role as the sole sponsor for this second movie night, while iBoom and YVB collaborated with the committee to ensure its success.
Eijan expressed gratitude, saying, “With all our efforts, we could not have made this possible without the help and sponsorship of our private sector friends. Most especially, BG Commercial Construction, iBoom, YVB, and previous sponsor Waab Transportation Company.”
