New Funding Source from YSHPO

The Yap State Historic Preservation Office (YSHPO) under the Department of

Youth & Civic Affairs would like to inform the general public most especially,

registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Conservation, Youth and

Women's groups of a New Funding opportunity from the Australia's Blue

Carbon Accelerator Fund that it is now open until July 8, 2023.


This funding opportunity can support projects related to Coastal ecosystem

like,

  • Seagrass

  • Mangroves;

  • Tidal marshes (salt marsh);

  • Sparsely vegetated salt marshes (salt flats); and supra tidal swamp forests.

If you are interested and your group is a (Registered NGO group) then you are

encourage to attend a meeting scheduled for June 9, 2023, at 11 :30am to

12:30pm at the YSHPO Conference room for more details about this

opportunity.
