Giteam, Rull— The project was requested by the Yap State Public Service Corporation and commenced at the beginning of June. It is still ongoing. The construction extends from the road near the dam into Gitam village, creating a new secondary road for public use. Sediment from the dam dredging is being utilized for the road construction. Progress has been slow due to weather conditions and the use of outdated equipment by the Public Works and Transportation Department. Despite these challenges, efforts continue to advance the project towards enhancing community safety and infrastructure.
