Yap, FM- The Committee on Finance of the Eleventh Legislature of the State of Yap has scheduled two public hearings for the Fiscal Year 2026 Recommended Budget (Gov. Comm. No. 11-340) to be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Legislature Chamber.
The first hearing will occur at 10:00 a.m. with witnesses including the Director, Chief of Budget, Chief of Planning, and Chief of Personnel from the Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) and the Office of Administrative Services. The second hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. with witnesses also from the Office of Administrative Services (OAS), including the Director, Chief of Finance, Chief of Personnel, Chief of Tax & Revenue, Chief of Procurement, the State Archivist, and the System Administrator I. The public is invited to attend and participate in these critical discussions regarding the state’s budget.
