Colonia, Yap – This weekend, as part of the Waab Taguw Day festivities, the Yap Fishing Club is set to host a Fishing Derby on Saturday, August 31st, followed by a Boat Race on Sunday, September 1st. In addition to these events, the celebration will feature a variety of activities, including cooking and swimming competitions, a beer racing competition, a hot pepper eating challenge, local dances, live bands, and much more. There will be fuel vouchers, cash prizes, and more for both events, however, all competitors must register to compete. For more details, please call Fidel Muwol at 952-0003.
