Yap, FSM – During the weekend of May 18th, 2024, the 34 Upward Bound(UB) students and 10 staff contributed their time and services in assisting the Road and Ground team at the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) in road repairs. The road repairs began from Tagreng to Maap, the team was broken into 2 groups. The main objective was to compact the road to ensure smoother transportation for travelers and residents in the area.
Yesterday, May 20th, DPW&T Director Giltug and his team sent a letter of appreciation to the UB staff and students to express their gratitude for their time and services in assisting DPW&T through “actions and not words.”
