Yap, FSM – According to the Yap State Weather Station, due to the current Tropical Depression located Northwest of Yap and is moving at 18 mph, the depression is forecast to intensify tonight. Therefore, residents in the southern part of Yap are advised to remain cautious of rough seas, possible surges, and strong winds. Small craft and high surge advisory remains in effect now for south-southwest of Yap.
