The restoration project is a vital endeavor to preserve the cultural and traditional aspects of Yap architecture, ensuring the historical significance of the site remains intact for future generations. This initiative highlights the community's commitment to maintaining Yap's culture.
The scope of work involves the village providing labor, equipment, and materials necessary to clear and clean the site grounds. Additionally, the village will restore the site to its original structure, shape, and form.
