Colonia, Yap – Last Monday, March 4th, it was announced that the Committees on Government, Health and Welfare (GHW) and Resources, Education and Development (RED) of the 11th Legislature of the State of Yap had scheduled a Public Hearing to be held at the Legislative Chamber originally on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, at 10 am. However, the Yap State Legislature has rescheduled the public hearing to Friday, March 8th, 2024, at the same time–, 10 am.
The public hearing will be concerning Bill No. 11-67, which entails that the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs will gain a new division, which is the Yap Sports Complex, and all sponsored sports programs under their current responsibility.
