Yap, FSM - The MV Hapilmohol-2(H2) voyage 04(1st leg) students and teachers run FY-24 is set to depart from Yap Proper to the Outer Islands on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at 5 PM. This trip aims to provide government services and other field trip services, including drought emergency efforts, election runs, and the return of students from both high schools to their respective home islands.
Cargo booking schedule remains ongoing from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm, closing next week on Thursday, May 9th, at 11:30 am. Next week, cargo delivery to Stevedore Company will open on Wednesday to Thursday, May 8th and 9th, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Then the following week, Cargo loading will open on Monday to Tuesday, May 13th to 14th, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Passenger booking will open on Monday to Wednesday, May 13th to 15th, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm, then close on Wednesday at 4:00 pm. Thru gate cargo will open from Thursday to Friday, May 16th to 17th, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Additionally, passenger screening will take place on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, from 12 pm to 4 pm. Lastly, the estimated time of arrival to Yap proper will be on Saturday, June 6th, 2024, at 7:00 am.
The trip itinerary includes departing Yap Proper to Ulithi, Fais, Eaurpik, Woleai, Ifeluk, Fechailap, Gaferut, Satawal, Lamortrek, Elato, then back to Woleai, Eauripik, Ifeluk, Elato, Lamotrek, Satawal, Gaferut, Fechailap, Ifelauk, and returning to Yap Proper.
Due to continued issues with cargo allowance for departing passengers, the Sea Transportation Office will strictly enforce a limit of three types of items allowed for ongoing passengers during screening: food items, bed items, and clothing items to be used on the trip.
