Yap, FSM - The National Weather Service has issued the following forecast for the upcoming weekend through Monday, with varying weather patterns expected. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly, as scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms may occur throughout the period.
On Saturday, the day will begin partly sunny with isolated showers, giving way to light and variable winds that will shift to the west at 10 to 15 mph by the afternoon. High temperatures are expected to reach around 88°F. The chance of showers is 20 percent, so outdoor activities should be mostly clear with minor interruptions from brief showers. As we shift into the evening, conditions will become mostly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. West winds will continue at 10 to 15 mph, and overnight lows will dip to around 78°F. The chance of showers increases to 30 percent, with some thunderstorms potentially impacting the area.
On Sunday, the day will expect partly sunny skies with a 30 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will remain warm, with highs reaching the upper 80s. It will be a mix of sunshine and brief rain showers, so keep an umbrella handy if you’re spending time outdoors.
By Sunday evening till Monday night, we shall expect to see mostly cloudy skies with a 40 percent chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Nighttime lows will stay in the upper 70s, and daytime highs will reach the upper 80s. The chance of rain increases slightly, and thunderstorms may develop in some areas.

On Saturday, the high tide will occur at 9:03 AM at 5.6 feet and again at 8:46 PM at 6.0 feet. The low tides for the day will be at 2:30 AM at 1.1 feet and 2:39 PM at 2.2 feet.
For Sunday, the high tides will be at 9:48 AM at 5.4 feet and at 9:20 PM at 5.6 feet. Low tides will occur at 3:11 AM at 0.7 feet and 3:14 PM at 2.5 feet.
Lastly, on Monday, the high tides will be at 10:34 AM at 5.1 feet and 9:57 PM at 5.7 feet. The low tides are expected at 3:53 AM at 0.9 feet and 3:50 PM at 3.1 feet.
