Weather Update for the Weekend and Monday, July 01, 2024/// DYCA PIO

Yap, FSM - According to the Yap Weather Service Office, this weekend the forecast predicts mostly cloudy skies with a 50 percent chance of showers, accompanied by highs in the upper 80s and lows in the lower 80s. Tomorrow’s low tide forecasts are at 6:31 AM with a height of 2.43 ft and 6:23 PM with a height of 2.09 ft, while hide tides are predicted to be at 12:28 AM reaching 4.48 ft and at 12:24 PM the tides will reach a height of 4.12 ft, the best time to go fishing. Sunday’s tide forecasts are as follows, at 1:04 AM there will be a high tide of 4.45 ft and another high tide at 1:22 PM with a height of 3.86 ft. There will be a low tide at 7:27 AM with a height of 2.30 ft and another low tide at 7:02 PM with a height of 2.38 ft. If you enjoy clam hunting on the shore, this is the best time to go. Monday’s tide schedule will start with a high tide at 1:43 AM with a height of 4.4 ft and slowly descend into a low tide at 8:30 AM with a height of 2.22 ft. The tide will then reach another peak height of 3.36 ft at 2:32 PM before falling to a height of 2.64 ft at 7:52 PM. Please stay informed and take the necessary precautions.
