Colonia, Yap (Yap State Court Press Release, June 3, 2024) – The Yap State Court has

issued a general court order, amending Rules 3 and 5 of the Rules of Criminal Procedure

for the State Court of Yap. The amendments simplify the method a criminal complaint is

made and the procedures during a criminal defendant’s initial appearance.

A copy of the issued general court order will be posted on the bulletin boards at the Yap

State Court. You can also obtain a hard copy for a fee from the Clerk’s Office.
