Yap State Election Office at DYCA: Host Swearing-in Ceremony and Procedural Review Workshop // Wednesday, March 13th, 2024//DYCA PIO

Yap, FSM- The Yap State Election Office, under the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs(DYCA), convened a workshop on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Small Business Development Center(SBDC) conference room from 10 AM to 12 PM. Present at the workshop were Director Alex Gilfiley, Election Commissioner Christopher Buchun, and all Election Board Members(EBM) on Yap proper and a few from the Outer Islands(OI). The primary objective of the gathering was to administer the swearing-in ceremony for all new EBMs and conduct a comprehensive review of regular procedures in the State of Yap. Additionally, the workshop aimed to introduce the general public education regarding the referendum election.
