Yap State Government Prioritizes Outer-Island Student Transportation Friday, June 07, 2024 // DYCA PIO

Colonia, Yap – The Department of Public Works and Transportation has announced changes to the government long field trip, Voyage 04 FY-24, 2nd leg, to accommodate the annual inspection of the MV Hapilmohol 2 on June 27, 2024. The updated schedule and prioritization details include final booking closing on June 7, 2024, cargo delivery to the Stevedore Company on June 6-7, 2024, cargo loading on June 10-11, and passenger booking until June 12, 2024. Passengers are allowed to bring only food, bedding, and clothing during screening. The voyage will arrive in Yap on June 25, 2024, with stops at various locations. Reservations are not confirmed until tickets are purchased or Travel Authorizations (TAs) are received. New booking and boarding procedures have been enacted to prevent accidents at sea.
