Yap State Weather and Tide Update for Tomorrow, October 24th

Yap, FSM - According to the National Weather Service, tomorrow’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the day. Northwest winds are expected at 15 to 20 mph, with daytime temperatures ranging from a low of 79°F to a high of 85°F. There is a 50% chance of showers during the day.

In the evening, conditions will remain cloudy with numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms. Winds will continue from the northwest at 15 to 20 mph, with overnight lows around 78°F. The chance of showers increases to 60% overnight.

Tide Information:

  • The first low tide will occur at 6:44 AM, with the water level at approximately 2.0 feet.

  • The high tide is expected at 1:46 PM, reaching a peak of around 4.2 feet.

  • Another low tide will follow at 6:50 PM, with the water level dropping to about 3.7 feet.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to be cautious, especially if planning outdoor or water-related activities.
