Makiy, Yap –The Yap Sports Development, Yap Weightlifting Federation, and Division of Youth Services from the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs(DYCA) held an orientation at the Faith Christian Academy(FCA) on Tuesday at noon, February 13th, 2024. The orientation aimed to provide comprehensive guidance on proper weightlifting techniques and types of equipment usage. In addition, essential aspects such as lifting mechanics, equipment demonstration, and safety protocols to ensure a clear understanding of weightlifting fundamentals.
Furthermore, the objective of participants is to be cognizant of the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in future competitions. The FCA Principal will gather the names and contact information of students interested in participating in any upcoming weightlifting competition.
