Colonia Yap - Representing the FSM Department of Justice, Assistant Attorney General Marrisha Jones paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Yap State on April 13, 2023. This visit was a component of the continued collaboration between the FSM national government and the Yap State Public Education Team to inform the public about the 9 proposed amendments that will be subject to a referendum in July 2023 as part of the Constitutional Convention process.
To further promote public education, the team is currently conducting activities in the neighboring islands of Yap and will return on April 20, 2023, to schedule public education on the main island.
