Yap, FSM – Yap State is set to receive an array of essential supplies and goods shipped from multiple international origins, scheduled for arrival on the vessel Kota Ratu V-358W. The cargo, which recently departed from Saipan, is expected to dock in Yap before continuing to Koror with an estimated return date of November 4, 2024, according to Micronesian Forwarder/CTSI.
The shipment includes a variety of commodities to support the local market, such as 13 containers of cement from Vietnam and additional containers of groceries, rice, and cooking oil from Vietnam and Indonesia. The arrival also includes canned tuna from Thailand, beer and lubricants from Singapore, and tea from Taiwan. Further shipments of general merchandise, construction materials, soda, and a vehicle from Guam, with additional foodstuff and general merchandise sourced from the USA. The public can expect the availability of these supplies shortly after their arrival, ensuring continued access to important goods for the community.
