Correction to the Wednesday, July 17,2024 News Bulletin Yap State 11th Legislature Public Hearing: Department of Education Proposed FY2025 Budget with Focus on New Compact Funding

Colonia, Yap- The DOE's proposed budget for FY2025 did not total $14,896,240.00, but rather DOE was a part of this proposed budget. The actual proposed budget for FY2025 was $7,501,002.00. This budget marks the beginning of a new compact funding cycle, introducing significant changes and challenges in the budget process. The DOE aims to streamline and improve the budget preparation process to adapt to the new funding framework.
