Yap, FSM – The Department of Health Services (DHS) IT team had left last Saturday, August 3rd, on H2 for a vital trip to the outer islands between Ulithi and Woleai. The mission, scheduled to start next week, aims to assess all dispensaries in these islands to ensure they are functioning optimally.
In Woleai, the team will be installing a Starlink satellite system at the local dispensary. This installation is a significant step towards enhancing communication and data sharing capabilities. The new system will allow for the seamless exchange of data between the Woleai dispensary and the main DHS office, improving healthcare services and response times.
This initiative reflects DHS's commitment to leveraging advanced technology to support healthcare delivery across Yap State.
