Colonia, Yap-On Monday, June 10, 2024, the eleven DYCA Summer interns had a courtesy call with the Yap State Governor, the Honorable Charles Chieng. The meeting took place at 10:00 am and went until 10:50 am. The Governor welcomed the interns into their temporary workplace and gave them vital advice for their continued growth and learning. The interns also had the opportunity to make inquiries about some of the events happening on Yap and how the governor aims to address Yap’s current and future issues. He also gave them words of wisdom such as: “if you think you are dealing with a ‘big’ problem, you need to simplify it, to deal with it.” said Governor Charles Chieng.
