Four swimmers from the FSM competed in the World Aquatics Championships, in Fukuoka, Japan


Tasi Limtiaco: 50 Meter Breaststroke and 100 Meter Breaststroke

Taeyanna Adams: 100 Meter Breaststroke and 50 Meter Butterfly

Kyler Kihleng: 100 Meter Freestyle and 200 Meter Freestyle

Kestra Kihleng: 50 Meter Freestyle and 50 Meter Breaststroke


Team FSM: Mixed 4x100 Freestyle and Mixed 4x100 Medley Relay


FSM Olympian Tasi Limtiaco was the first swimmer up. Tasi is the current FSM National Record holder in this event. Dropping over a full second off his start time in the Men’s 100 Meter Breaststroke, Tasi finished with a time of 1:03.53, a new FSM National Record. Tasi Limtiaco had also set another brand-new FSM National Record in the Men’s 50 Meter Breaststroke race today! An astounding time of 28.95!


The next swimmer representing team FSM was Taeyanna Adams, who partook in the Women’s 100 Meter Breast Stroke. Taeyanna is the current FSM National Record holder in this event, in Fukuoka, Japan with a personal Season’s Best time in the Women’s 100 Meter Breaststroke race.

The third swimmer of team FSM was Kyler Kihleng, swimming in the 200 Meter Freestyle and Men’s 100 meter Freestyle race. Kyler got off to a great start here in Fukuoka, Japan at the World Aquatics Championships with a new Personal Best time in the Men’s 200 Meter Freestyle race.


Team FSM took to the pool yesterday at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan in the mixed 4x100 Meter Medley Relay. Awesome swims by Kyler Kihleng on Backstroke, Tasi Limtiaco on Breaststroke, Kestra Kihleng on Butterfly, and Taeyanna Adams on Freestyle. Finishing 5th in the heat, it was a fantastic race.
