Yap, FSM - On Friday, October 11, 2024, His Excellency Ambassador Jackson Soram of the Federated States of Micronesia paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Governor Charles S. Chieng of Yap State.
Ambassador Soram was accompanied by Mr. Leo Falcom, representing the FSM Compact Management Office, and Mr. Kehlen Halbert, Assistant Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
Governor Chieng was joined by Lt. Governor Francis Itimai and members of his Cabinet during the meeting.
The courtesy call provided an opportunity for Ambassador Soram and Governor Chieng to discuss matters of mutual interest and cooperation between the national and state governments. The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships and collaboration to promote the well-being and prosperity of the people of Yap State and the Federated States of Micronesia as a whole.
