This recognition of Jay Garmangeg is well-deserved. His background in agricultural extension and livestock management will be valuable for Yap's food security efforts. It's encouraging to see local expertise driving climate resilience. Community development work can be demanding, so it's good to have accessible ways to unwind. Good to see Jay Garmangeg named Yap Coordinator for Components 2 and 3. His background in agricultural extension, livestock management, and community-based development seems well suited to the GCF Food Security Project’s focus on climate-smart agriculture and resilient food systems. Working through COM-FSM CRE should help keep implementation grounded in local knowledge.
