Yap, FM- The Historical Preservation Office has an upcoming project aimed at rebuilding a platform (Wunbey) in the village of Ilethow, Fais Island. This project is primarily intended for the chief's estate.
According to reports submitted from the community of Fais, Pemadol Estate, which is the third chief’s estate in Fais, has full control over and ownership of everything on Ilethow land, including the Ilethow reef in the surrounding area.
This project is one of the many projects that the Historic Preservation Office is working on to help preserve some of the cultural and historical sites in the State of Yap.
