Yap, Federated States of Micronesia – Today on November 29, 2024, the Island Market opened its doors again at the Yap Living History Museum from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Four diverse vendors participated in the market, showcasing and selling a variety of local products. These included fresh fruits and vegetables, vibrant plants, gently used clothing, and delicious takeout food.
Additionally, some of the vendors at the market featured exquisite handmade yarn leis and intricate handcrafted designs such as necklaces and earrings.
The Island Market is an ongoing community event held on the last Friday of each month for these past years.
