Yap, FSM – The cargo vessel MV Kota Raja arrived in Yap on December 7th, having traveled from Saipan to Guam and then onward to our shores. This important shipment is anticipated to bring a diverse range of goods crucial to our community's needs.
Among the essential supplies that arrived on the MV Kota Raja are refined sugar, confectionery, and beverages, which will greatly contribute to the variety of food options available to residents.
The vessel also delivered Portland cement ASTM C150 type I in 40 KG bags without pallets, sourced from Vietnam YCA. This construction material is essential for ongoing and future development projects in our community.
In addition, the shipment includes paving asphalt AR8000, assorted foodstuff, and general merchandise, providing much-needed supplies to local businesses and households alike.
Residents will also benefit from assorted groceries, green time natural drinking water, beer, and cigarettes, ensuring that essential goods are readily available for the holidays and beyond.
The MV Kota Raja also carried general merchandise with hazmat, construction materials, frozen mixed groceries, and fresh produce. This diverse cargo will support various sectors within our community, including construction and food services.
