New Training Vessel Launched in Colonia April 16, 2025, /// DYCA PIO

A new chapter in maritime training begins as the FSM-Fisheries and Maritime institute's long-anticipated vessel has officially launched into the waters of Colonia on April 04, 2025. This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Waab Transportation, Public Works, YSPSC, and the Yap Public Safety Department, who supported the transport of the vessel from Abay to the Colonia dock.

FSM-Fisheries and Maritime institute extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this milestone a reality. The vessel will serve as a valuable hands-on training platform for cadets, offering real-world experience in operating small vessels.
