Yap, FSM- According to staff at Road & Grounds at the Department of Public Works & Transportation, is currently undertaking important road repair projects to improve access to public schools. The team began the repairs two days ago and has already completed work on roads leading to schools in Dalipebinaw and Bael.
As of today, October 17th, the team has initiated road repairs for schools located in North Fanif, Rumu, and Gannaley. The repairs include the use of similar aggregated materials as in Tagreng and asphalt to fill potholes and repave the roads, ensuring safer and smoother access for students, teachers, and community members.
This initiative highlights the department's commitment to maintaining essential infrastructure in support of the education system. Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.
