Public Hearings Scheduled for the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget in Yap Wednesday, April 02, 2025/// DYCA PIO

Yap, FM -The Committee on Finance of the Eleventh Legislature of the State of Yap will hold two public hearings on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Legislature Chamber.

The first hearing will start at 10:00 a.m. and will focus on the Fiscal Year 2026 Recommended Budget for the Library. Witnesses for this session include the Head Librarian, the Chief of Budget from the Office of Planning and Budget (OPB), the Chief of Personnel from the Office of Administrative Services (OAS), and other invited representatives.

The second hearing will follow at 11:00 a.m. and will discuss the Fiscal Year 2026 Recommended Budget for Scholarships. Witnesses for this session include the Scholarship Coordinator, the Chief of Budget from OPB, the Chief of Personnel from OAS, and other invited representatives.

These hearings are open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
